About Us

Bethany,Bonnie 2004We (Bonnie and Bethany) met over ten years ago, during the first year of our marriages, long before children, when our husbands were both active duty soldiers stationed at Fort Knox. God brought us together and allowed a great friendship to grow.  This early time was a season of joy and spiritual growth where we studied the Word together and were able to seek counsel on the daily balance of work and marriage.  We enjoyed Beth Moore’s ‘Patriarchs‘, JoAnn Weaver’s ‘Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World‘, Linda Dillow’s ‘Creative Counterpart‘ and many other Bible studies while at the table with coffee (or tea) in hand.  We even continued this tradition when Bonnie moved to Belgium and we did Bible studies via phone and email.

Through many seasons of life, our friendship has remained strong. There have been deployments, deaths, countless moves, and the blessings of children.  Often we have found ourselves in different seasons of circumstance yet connected in spirit, faith and the desire to know God more, striving to be better.

Now, years later, with kids in tow, Bethany and Bonnie have a passion to homeschool our children with a classical model of education, following the Well Trained Mind, by Susan Bauer.  And now we have a calling to encourage and provide materials to other moms seeking to do the same.
